Tina Rae Begay is a state and nationally board-certified Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner, a Diplomate in Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). This title certifies that she has completed over 3,500 hours of training in all the principal aspects of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Tina Rae graduated with a Master’s of Science in Oriental Medicine from the Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture and completed clinical internships with master practitioners from China, Thailand, Japan, Korea, and the USA.

These early life lessons on spirit body connections and the power of holistic medicine taught by her mother and great-grandmother, allowed her to find strong connections between Native American and Eastern modalities of medicine. She found that each complimented her approach to treating the whole person. As a result, Tina Rae offers her patients a holistic approach which is able to help resolve many chronic and acute illnesses.

About Melissa Camacho, L.Ac., Dipl.OM

Melissa Camacho is a Licensed Acupuncturist (Nationally Board Certified in Acupuncture and Herbs) and Ayurvedic Practitioner. She began studying complementary medicine in 2001 as an aromatherapy buyer at a health food store in Boston, MA. At that time, she was introduced to Vinyasa Yoga and meditation. This avenue of study lead naturally to the discovery of Ayurveda, Yoga’s sister science. In 2004, she became an Ayurvedic apprentice at 7 Centers Yoga Arts in Sedona, AZ and cooked Ayurvedically for large groups, such as Sedona Meditation (now, the McLean Meditation Institute). In 2005, she studied Ayurveda more formally with Dr. Vasant Lad of the Ayurvedic Institute in Albuquerque, NM. Upon graduating from the second year of the program, she began a clinical practice of Ayurveda and taught workshops on the subject in both Arizona and New Mexico.

Melissa's love for natural medicine blossomed further in 2008 when she began studying acupuncture, moxibustion, and Chinese herbs at Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM.  Her knowledge of elemental medicine, herbs, and wealth of clinical experience enabled her to obtain a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine in 2011 and paved the way to study Chinese Medicine in China at Heilongjing University of Chinese Medicine. When not in clinic, Melissa contributes regularly to various yoga and health newsletters and magazines.
